Lorenzo Brivio (Carate Brianza -1993) is a visual artist and a goldsmith enthusiast for years. Trained at the Brera Academy in Milan as a pupil of Omar Galliani and working for many years as an assistant to the austrian artist Paul Renner, he continues today with his artistic research and jewelry production. In 2021 the Briviojewelry.com project was born to share and offer his exclusive creations to the general public.

Lorenzo Brivio: "Jewels are useless, just as art is useless, if not useful for making life more interesting than jewelry and art itself.
What fascinates me about jewels is their power to load themselves with strong symbolic values, that is the ability to unite, put together distant worlds and people, just think for example of talismans or wedding rings.
Jewels also have a strong communicative power and often act as a catalyst for encounters, because they seduce, intrigue, attract the people around you and therefore open up to new possibilities that change your day. I will never consider a jewel as a mere "decoration" but always as a sculpture, a vehicle of ideas and feelings that make noise and break the silence in space, wherever you go. And what about sobriety? we leave it to those who do not want to have fun: let's rock n 'roll! Because as has been said "Audentes Fortuna iuvat", luck helps those who dare."

Lorenzo Brivio (Carate Brianza -1993) è un artista visivo ed un appassionato di oreficeria da anni. Formatosi presso L'accademia di Brera a Milano come allievo di Omar Galliani e lavorando per molti anni come assistente dell'artista austriaco Paul Renner prosegue oggi con la sua ricerca artistica e la produzione di gioielli . Nel 2021 nasce il progetto Briviojewelry.com per condividere ed offrire le sue creazioni esclusive al grande pubblico.

Lorenzo Brivio: "I gioielli sono inutili, così come è inutile l'arte, se non utile a rendere la vita più interessante dei gioielli e dell'arte stessa.
Quello che mi affascina dei gioielli è il loro potere di caricarsi di forti valori simbolici, cioè la capacità di unire, mettere insieme mondi lontani e persone, basti pensare ad esempio ai talismani o alle fedi nuziali.
I gioielli hanno anche un forte potere comunicativo e fungono spesso da catalizzatori di incontri, perché seducono, incuriosiscono, attraggono le persone che abbiamo intorno e quindi aprono a nuove possibilità che ti cambiano la giornata. Non considererò mai un gioiello come mera “decorazione” ma sempre come una scultura, veicolo di idee e sentimenti che fanno rumore e rompono il silenzio nello spazio, ovunque tu vada. E per quanto riguarda la sobrietà? la lasciamo a chi non ha voglia di divertirsi: let's rock n' roll, perchè come scriveva Virgilio “Audentes Fortuna iuvat” la fortuna aiuta chi osa.”
